Good News
This is not about me, guess who else got engaged...
As salam 'alaikum everyone! This email has some very good news...
Somewhere off in fairytale land,
A young lady was being asked for her hand,
No one thought that this could be,
How would this turn out?...it was a mystery,
It turned out well because we know in fairy tale land,
That the girl must say yes when he asks for her hand,
So the planning will start for the big day,
Lots of excitement, as people come from far away,
So now you may ask who these two people may be,
With a little patience you will soon see,
But first, let me tell you a little about her,
And once you find out you will concur,
This petite little lady is white as snow,
And we all know for brown people that point's a go,
Her chipmunk giggle make people think,
This girl is sick get her something to drink,
And he, well he is not so small,
At 6'2 he is actually quite tall,
So just when you thought opposites attract,
You have no idea, this is no act,
I believe Jungle Fever has been given the name,
Because these two people are not the same,
This was written to be by The One up high,
This match is beautiful…it may make you cry,
So now I will tell you, and I'm proud to say,
That Farooq and Salwa are now on their way,
To a life together with peace and love,
And forever they will be thankful to The One Above!
We are happy to announce the engagement of
Farooq Maseehuddin
&
Salwa Elladen
(Please remember them in your Du'a)

Another fairytale comes to life... By Mehreen Rashid
In a magical land
There was a desert rose
Blooming in golden sands
There came an admirer
Oh, the beauty of the rose
He halted and idolized
His heart simply froze
He reached out his hand
Wishing to bring together
His life and the rose's
He shall treasure her forever
And so he proposed
This knight on noble steed
To the princess, so lovely
He asked, "Do you agree?"
And, she, so shocked
Looked into his blue eyes
And said, "Why, ofcourse
You don't have to ask twice!"
