AH Kashmir
Finally we've reached our temporary destination.
Kashmir... well kashmir is way more developed than I left it last, lots of new houses, shops and a lot more cars. But it's way less chaotic, sticky, hot and loud than Delhi. Delhi is just good for shopping!
I'm at an internet cafe right now and it's much faster than the Delhi at home dail up connection so now I can upload pictures :) ... I tried putting up pix in Delhi 3 times, literally for half an hour it would say "uploading" then I would finally give up trying... the problem right now is that I brought my camera and the USB wires but there is no USB port!! LOL, Inshallah I will make a CD of these pix then bring it here whenever I get a chance and put them up :)
Kashmir is as beautiful as it is. We can see mountains from our house and today we went to this lake filled with bloomed lotus(es)......
There are so many guests at home, all there to visit us and the new baby girl my uncle had just a couple of days ago..... my cousin and I slipped out without telling mom and I hope she figures we 're in another room or something!
OOOOH guess what? I had a dream about Edmonton last night. Salwa, Mona and I were sitting at some bench at the U and these two well respected (I'm not going to say who on the net) guys walked passed us, they stopped behind us and were in awe of something repeatedly saying SubhanAllah SubhanAllah, we turned to look at them then turned to where they were looking at...LOL Guess what? lol they were looking at this direction where this random white non-Muslim girl was passing by so it seemed like they were staring at her and saying Subhanallah (we've never seen anyone so pretty) abd the three of us BURST out laughing. We were literally on the floor laughing specially coz the guys are quite respectable no nonsense type of guys, lol then suddenly I woke up laughing.
Saf saf I think your mom called us before we reached kashmir, Inshallah we'll get in touch with her soon.
Edmontonians have to tell me how the conference went?
