Single Relation of Power Model

Power relations

Conciously or unconsiously our society goes through power relations among gender. Ofcourse men being the "privileged" ones and women going through a benign form of "oppression" .
If we look at the "single relation of power" model analagous with the "teeter totter" (known as see saw in some countries) we see that men are at the higher end and women at the lower as a homogenous group of beings.

Like it or not, believe it or not, men do get an unearned privilege that comes from our social pattern, they have an assumed right and women get the unearned disadvantage. Their lives, oblivious to society, are in a way circumscribed, limited; socially, economically, politically etc.....

hmmm, but is it really a disadvantage?

1. Men are at the top of the teeter totter because women carry all the weight and let them be up there, if it wasn't for women men wouldn't be anywhere

2. If women were to step down from the bottom space men would come flying down, so why don't we leave that space?

3. Most women enjoy the enticement tagged with being a women (I certainly do)
